In the segment, Dr. Cherney celebrated the Center for Aphasia Â鶹APP & Treatment¡¯s 25th anniversary and its (ICAP), and highlighted the improvements in care for people with aphasia that have taken place in the past two and a half decades.

¡°[Shirley Ryan Â鶹APP¡¯s Center for Aphasia Â鶹APP & Treatment] is the first aphasia center in the United States to combine research and community programs for people with aphasia,¡± said Dr. Cherney. ¡°We offer terrific activities like conversation groups, book clubs, and we actually have an aphasia choir.¡±
