Join us every third Thursday of the month to get together and have meaningful discussions with other stroke survivors. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker who will touch upon different topics related to stroke and stroke recovery.

This month's speaker will be Alannah McBreen, MS, RDN, LDN. She will discuss the impact diet can have on stroke recovery. 

In 2017, Alannah graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor's degree in nutrition. Afterwards, she completed a combined dietetic internship and master¡¯s program at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. In 2019, she relocated to Chicago and dedicated four years to working in long-term care facilities. In 2023, she began working at Shirley Ryan Â鶹APP, where she has primarily been working with stroke and traumatic brain injury patients.
